After a long time in working the same image, most of what I do feels like its wrecking more than improving so I have to force myself to stop D:
The finishing touch add into a 12hr long paint usually makes it worse not better, since I used to sit for the whole 12+ hours to do a portrait without moving
So lately I break works into smaller times~ like 1 or 2 hours here and there. And I like to keep many screen caps on the work in progress, since to me, WIPs look way cooler than the finished stuff. I always love watching how people built artworks. I also love to see over long periods, how artists or myself have improved, I should make one of those one artwork a month meme's :3

An icon I made for using in Deviant Art, it's not my style, I just really love motorcycles and that day I went to a motorcycle show & shine to check out the shiny bikes! So I kept wanting to make a picture using motorcycle parts and found one I drew when I was like 15 years old, decided to re-do it digitally to use as a quick icon
A WIP of a character named Gideon and his scouting bird vulture thing who I don't remember the name, if it even had one. It's about 1-2 hrs of work in.
A WIP of a character named Lord Colin. It's obviously not human of course, I can hardly paint a human let alone weird human-ish creatures, so its being a learning experience i guess-- soon have to do full body references :X Its about 2-3 hours in. He reminds me of a mouse x3
This guy is funny, I don't know what to call these but whenever I had a shitty day, I always paint this dude being eaten alive by trees, turning into a tree, being drowned by trees, or something along those lines. So, I have like 15 different pictures of him and trees, haha. Here's just the more recent one I started, not really a WIP, just what my "layout" looks like before i start on an actual paint. So this takes like 10-15 minutes to draw out. Messy, I know I am untidy :3
And the last 2 picture is a WIP and the finished version, of the very first time I ever painted a person in photoshop! Haha. It wasn't much long ago. Like 4-5 months tops. I've only been painting in PS for like half a year D: It took maybe 2 hours for the whole thing, then again, if I did put 2 hours more it would be 900x better. But it was for learning purposes

Hair is my eternal enemy, but hopefully in 2 or 3 years I will learn it, too.
All for today, next time maybe post actually finished people stuff. Or more creatures- I poop out like 5 creature arts a DAY lately.
I started playing Guild Wars 2 finally, so the clothing in there is a big help to inspire full body outfits and stuff for characters I paint, and I have done maybe 1-2 pictures of people characters a day also. I always have trouble coming up with ideas on armours and head wear. But now, I'm drowning under my painting
