A few weeks back, I got a new toy; a 'Zoom B3' (an effects pedal for my bass). It's pretty dope.

It's got a bunch (~111, I think) of effects (of which you can combine 3 at a time), some of which are really good, some of which are incredibly crappy. My particular un-favourite is the 'Bomber' effect. I thought that it might be able to reproduce the intro to 'One', by Metallica, with it, but all it does it make crappy handgun, explosion, or thundercrash effects, and they don't even change in tone, no matter which note you play!
Thankfully there are plenty of good effects to compensate for that.
So, yeah, it's pretty damn good value for £110. I also got some free recording software with it, and recorded my own cover of Earth, Wind and Fire's 'Let's Groove Tonight':

I'm using all of the 3 effects shown in the second pic above: Filter, Phaser+Distortion and 'Ensemble'/Chorus. Although the song is extremely easy to play (it took me about 5 minutes to learn, if that), I feel proud of my recording job. I even mixed it in with the original track and did a half-decent fade out at the end.
Of course, now that I'm a star, feel free to send your panties, love notes, pubic hair, bodily fluids, marriage proposals, etc via post.
