Source: The Biggest Loser Competition - Summer 2015 Edition: WEEKLY RESULTSHi everyone! I just joined the challenge. I gained 20 pounds during the last year of university and the first year of grad school, and I'm now trying to get it back off! My knee is healed, and I'm running again. Sort of. I ran 2 miles today! I'm also making sure I travel (usually walking) 4 miles a day, at least (that's the 10k steps you hear about). I'm also on a caloric deficit, and have been steadily doing about 2 pounds a week. I started this shindig at 156, when I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm joining this challenge at 150 (was 148.6 just after my run, aaaaand 150.6 after that awesome burger dinner husband fed me). [I don't usually weigh that often, but needed a pic for the challenge entry]. SO. Nice to see you all! See you around!
SO! I joined the BLC yesterday! Felt like a good day to stick to running with the ecology club too. Man, I wanted to do ANYTHING but run. Blah day at work/school, blah overcast outside, blah all around. BUT. I ran. And then walked some, and made my 4 miles.
Then had an awesome burger dinner. Go Hubs.
Then more work. Booo.
I DID also whip up a pretty cool avatar/image for one of the members here. They wanted a Futurama/Kiko Lake mashup, and it's been a while since I got to photoshop anything. So. BAM.
I also joined the Scavenger Hunt! And the first item was a set of cutlery. So of course, I whipped out my Ozark Hobo Tool. Man I love that thing.
Now. To figure out how to rotate it.
Anyway. Blog is WAY long now, thanks to pictures. So. Off to walk my 4 miles and watch Supernatural! Halfway through the first season. Getting fit has never been so fun.
