I've recently been reading a book called "Chasing 193: The Quest to Visit Every Country in the World" by Ryan Trapp and Lee Abbamonte. Along with my university major of Tourism Management, this book has increased my desire to get out and see the world.
However, I hate to fly, and have limited funds.
Though I did recently find an airline that flies from the US Coasts to parts of Europe for under $500. Except I live in the smack dab middle of the US.... So it'd be a matter of getting to the coast, and then flying. Which I guess I could do, with the train or buses (Note: I've looked; it'd take me two days to get to New York from Texas via public transportation)
The cheapest flights seem to go from New York to either Copenhagen or Oslo.
So my travel planning begins. I'll keep ya updated
