Are people really upset that a guy with a gun who was more than likely high on prescription/illicit drugs, was shot after officers said "drop the gun" for over a minute?

    I can show you countless news stories of police getting into shoot outs and standoffs with people who have beaten and murdered.
    They're white and somehow always come out alive but if they're black, guarantee you they'll be dead.

    Don, there's a difference in carrying and brandishing. If it was removed from the holster, it's not open carry anymore. Not to mention felons can't have guns, but the officers didn't know that until after the fact. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
