Was trying to find a forum for adults or at least relatively mature people but failed to find anything except highly specialized forums (if that is the term, I mean limited subject matter) or dating forums. As if it isn't possible to be single and interested in anything but dating, let alone multiple subjects.

Haha, sorry, I didn't mean to say that here isn't good, but this is Neopets related and a girl wants to talk about other things too from time to time and the general forums here don't move quick enough for my personal taste. I don't mean this in a negative way, simply stating my opinion/impression.

No, you're totally right. The forums here do move slowly at times, and most of the movement is from the abrosia forums. :/

So I noticed, and since I don't yet have much to say on the subject and also don't want to accrue posts simply by spamming "this is great!" posts I've been leaving that alone for now.
