Don't get me wrong...they love unwrapping them, and I do wrap all their presents for Christmas and their birthdays, but if I just splurge one day and let them pick a toy out the excitement is just as great. Honestly sometimes I think they like playing with the wrapping paper more than the actual presents when I do wrap them...however they're a wee bit younger than 10 lol

^my rule of thumb is to know how much I have in debit and never spend more than that on credit, cause my only real guarantee for pay off credit is from debit

International flight? Maybe you'd have to spend at least 10,000 USD. Who knows with AUD though... I've been a frequent flyer since 2008/9, and I only earned miles through flying. I earned enough for a one-way business class international. Best option would be to just get a generic card which has membership points (I have an American Express everyday card), and I can transfer my points to miles. Also, a lot of cards will have bonuses, like spend $3,000 in your first 3 months, and get 10,000 bonus miles. But yeah, I only use mine as a debit card, I only buy things I can afford. Some do have like 12 months interest free. IDK if credit rating is as important in Aus, as it is in the US. Blah blah blah.
