Weird, I worked with them at my last duty station and they're making progress. Overpriced, absolutely, but failed...ehhhh.

The whole point of the program was to create a universal jet that could replace the existing models, with three minor variations on a basic body. The F-35 is not capable of doing so. Ergo, it's a failed project.

Fair enough. Like I said I don't like the F35 program, shit's way too over priced for what it can do. -Hopefully- we can get rid of our legacy jets at some point, which are aging, and being used far beyond their proposed life. Hopefully in the long run we'll...save money? I dunno lol
