or you think you cant
you're right
Everything will be okay in the end,
If it's not okay, it's not the end.
It hurts me to train, but it hurts me so much more to stop
Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
You cant have both feet on the ground and kick ass at the same time

How about "The floor is just the biggest shelf"?
I laughed out loud.
As for quotes, I don't know. But I am planning on getting something like the following tattoos:
In different places obviously. And I'm expecting them to cost me quite a bit of money. I'm not about to stick this shit on my body until I completely and fully understand the subject matter and concepts they represent though. It'll be a long time, but the day will come.

Sorry for being completely ignorant and daft, but what is the second one?

The first documented 'Tree of Life'. It's used commonly today, but it was first found as a small sketch in the margin of one of Darwin's personal notebooks with the words 'I think' written above it.

And because I just got off work and hate my job, because I didn't used to have to cover up my fishies and now I do ):
(I always bleed like crazy when I get tattooed)

I love that electric blue. I really do. That looks amazing.
Do colored inks hurt anymore than black inks? And how many sessions did a tattoo of that size take?
And of course, the obligatory "DID IT HURT AT ALL?"
EDIT: I obviously have no tattoos I'm curious though.

EDIT: I obviously have no tattoos I'm curious though.
I've probably had roughly ten hours now on my arm.
Wouldn't normally be half that, but I intended initially to be greyscale.
.. And then after repeatedly being told I should color it, I did.
But obviously the outline colors and that for greyscale and color are different, so I essentially had to get everything redone.
Tattoos are never pleasant, it's just sort of a nagging pain that's hard to describe (:
Worst part by far was the area that cuts right next to my armpit.
I put off getting the underside of my arm done for a long time, and had to laugh when I actually got it filled in because it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
Color does not matter when it comes to pain, but they use different "tips" on the tattoo gun.
For outlines, the gun tip is small and precise.
For color and shading, it's wider and looks a lot different.
Outlines (personally) feel better for me, because the pain is localized and specific.
When you do shading/coloring, it's more of a scraping sensation that obviously covers a more broad section of skin.

Typically black ink is used for outlining and it's going to be more painful than coloring/shading. But different colors aren't going to have mixed feelings.Uhm no .. i'm pretty sure they both use the same needle.
Anyways, I've never been able to find a quote that means enough to put on my body. I have the Kanji symbol for Loyalty and Devotion and an Gobu Irezumi with a Koi but eh. Good luck on finding something. The first tattoo was definitely a rewarding experience for me.

aka Tramp Stamp
You HAVE to get one because it will automatically make you 200% sexier, 300% sexier if you are already sexy. I mean what guy doesn't want to skeet skeet on some black wings or some shit.
edit: Oh and for a quote I guess you can use:
"Roses are red, violets are blue. YOU'RE A STINKY JEW"
Was actually thinking of the sun/moon/star thing as a tramp stamp, but after months of contemplating the issue, i've decided on middle upper back. Close enough. I have enough sexy to make up for no tramp stamp.

Thank you, i'm really excited.
As of now, "It's a sick world and i'm a happy girl." is still my favorite, I feel it fits me best. (so far, anyways) ^__^

Lineage, your tattoos kick ass. Seriously.
I'm still wanting someone to design my tattoo for me.. =/
I made a nice post about it and all... But nobody is willing to help, even giving basic images and offering USD or np... =/
Doesn't look like I'll have the money to get it done any time soon, but I decided on this design like two years ago... so I'm committed to it.
As to colored inks, I only have a 7 colored tattoo, and none were black.. so I can't really tell you... but I think they were all equal, really... Same needle and all... Personally, I found the tattoo experience to be incredibly pleasurable... but I also happen to enjoy getting shots... and maybe have a bit of a needle fetish.. and the fact that my tattoo artist was an attractive female probably also helped with the arousal of it all.
