I like tea more but without my daily dose of caffeine in the morning, I cannot function properly for the rest of the day.

Same can be said for coffee/most things, good coffee can be expensive.
I prefer a cup of tea in the morning, I never did like the taste of coffee.

Coffee I think, but again depends what, a basic coffee vs a basic tea, probably going to go with the coffee. But what about fruit teas and flavoured teas, idk... hard choice to make
This is exactly how I feel. I love flavored tea (and coffee), but when faced with the decision between regular coffee or regular tea, I'd opt for the coffee. Sometimes I drink tea if I don't want to risk drinking dairy, because I'm lactose intolerant, or when I'm sick, but I drink coffee more regularly. We just got one of those single cup coffee makers, and I love it!

I'm accustomed to sleeping around 4-5 hours a day for weeks at a time - so I don't really need the caffeine that coffee provides. From the few times that I have tried it, it was pretty bitter and doesn't taste good. Granted those flavored coffee based? drinks like Fraps and Lattes can be really good but they don't have the bitter, strong taste that coffee has.

Sweet tea is usually my drink of choice at restaurants.

I don't like hot drinks in general. I always feel really queasy after drinking hot drinks.

For tea as long as I get it unsweetened, and hot. So that leaves me more choices to go with tea?
