But does the counter reset or prolong if you go on AB and do it again before one of those times have been reached?
RS banned is detected..

So RS bans are detected and they can take 8/12/24 hours to be rid of..
But does the counter reset or prolong if you go on AB and do it again before one of those times have been reached?
You set how long it checks. If you live by these numbers do 8 hours. But that is tough because if you do 8 hours and it checks right before that then it will wait another 8 hours. I would say most people do 1 or 2 hours.

Do what again? Look at a shop?
Turn on AB again and start it up.

Yea I mean, i know how to set it for how long it checks.. My question is more along the lines of.. when is the "RS ban" lifted?

The counter is never reset, unless you count getting banned again as soon as it's lifted.Turn on AB again and start it up.

Do you know the counter times?
It's gotta be completely random. No number to guess.

As far as I know, what you've listed is accurate. Some people report 48hr bans, but I can't confirm that myself.Do you know the counter times?

And Acheron? You guys used to have like 30-50 posts a day! I remember when somebody hit like 60 something (was it 72? I have bad memory) in one day!

Some people refer to this as the circle of life.
As for the RS bans, I didn't know they were 8 hour increments either... I thought these were random (I have been RS banned and unbanned within 4-5 hours ) Most people just apply an 8 hour increment to them to make it easier to keep track of when they next check for unbannage...
I agree, however - I noticed that if I did keep checking to see if I was RS banned every hour or two, it would take longer (at least it felt longer) then opposed to checking after I went to the library or to the gym or something along those lines.
I'm pretty sure it's not 8 hours of RS banning - I've definitely been RS banned for a lot less then 8 hours.
I do think that we can say:
1.) Checking for RS bans prolong your ban
2.) Getting RS banned recently (in the past 24 hours or so) increases your chances of getting RS banned in a shorter amount of time
While this may not be 100% concrete information - this is what I have experience and I've heard accounts of others experiencing similar events.
EDIT:
I really cannot wait for the disruption to the circle of life (aka downvoting)

You've been banned less than 8?
That's ridiculous, for me it's always been at least 8-12 hours before it works again.. But that maybe just luck.
Also what is the true meaning of RS ban? Like does that mean it gives you a higher chance of getting frozen or just unable to access specific items or whatnot?

RS bans were created to prevent one BA RSer (or ABer nowadays) from making a ton of money and restocking for hours upon hours. Evens the playing field a little bitAlso what is the true meaning of RS ban? Like does that mean it gives you a higher chance of getting frozen or just unable to access specific items or whatnot?

Aren't rs bans just plain random?

I remember those days, bans have definitely changed over time though.

The true meaning of RS ban?
Well there is only one meaning. You're banned from restocking for a random period of time. This means you can't see items in ANY main shops at all.
You can however still restock at Igloo or Attic as these shops are 'bonus' shops rather than main shops.
Good to know.
I set abrosia to check every 30 minute since it can't really do any harm to check more often.
