Gotta be Batman simply because i did not like Tobey Maguire's chin in spiderman 3 when he was crying. It deeply offended me and has ruined everything to do with spiderman for me :/

Batman. At least he didn't have an emo phase like Spidey did.

Batman is always emo.

It kind of goes with the "I'm going to avenge my dead parents" territory.

Batman. He defeated Superman once, Spiderman is relatively easier.

Spiderman has the ability while batman doesn't

Batman has genius level intellect, one of the smartest people in the DC universe. He is also the top martial artist in the DC universe too. If he can can go toe to toe with people like Superman and be one of the founders of the justice league, Spiderman would be no problem.

In the cross over comic book series Marvel Vs DC, Batman even beats Captain America - who would easily beat Spiderman yo :)

I'm fairly sure Batman has defeated monsters.

Spiderman's powers are to strength, clinging to walls, a..."spidey-sense", balance and agility. Batman is super strong, trained in a load of martial arts, is a genius and has the tech to compensate for pretty much anything ever. He could mow Spiderman off the wall with the Batwing if he so wished.

I swear I posted in this topic o.0

Batman wins. He can beat Superman. He can beat Cpt America. Therefore, he can pwn Spiderman.

All he has to do is use his Bat Caller and its high frequency would have Spiderman on his knees in seconds.

[inset all the other obvious/previously mentioned stuff here]

On a random note, anyone actually follow the respective comic series'?

I'm not following the main Batman title because seriously, fuck Morrison. I pick up trades and issues dependant on who's writing and drawing it, but the only title I'm getting religiously at the moment is Gotham City Sirens...and Metalocalypse, but that's a mini-series.

Batman kinda died on me when he died and then didn't die and is kinda dead but not really......I did go buy the battle for the cowl miniseries *shrug

Spiderman I was never into...mainly because my dad didn't collect his comics so I didn't have a foundation to build on

That was all Grant Morrison's fault. Don't let him and his pretentiousness spoil Batman for you!

UGHs

I never liked spiderman
But i think he'll kick batman's ass
I mean depends on what they mean by superhuman reflexes. If Spiderman really has superhuman reflexes nothing could beat him cause his reflexes would be too fast.
Sadly they tend to ignore this when constructing fights.

Just like the flash.
Theoretically he should be unstoppable. At the speed of light you won't be able to see him much less touch him without getting burned.
But he always gets whooped

For super heroes with powers, they don't necessarily have superhuman reflexes (reflexes so fast that they can never be hit).

Basing Spiderman on his actual powers (like spidey sense), the only ass kicking he would be doing is in his dreams =p Batman would destroy him.

That was all Grant Morrison's fault. Don't let him and his pretentiousness spoil Batman for you!

Did anyone read that spiderman storyline where he get's transformed into a giant spider.. dies, and then GIVES BIRTH to himself.

Noooo, but I heard about the one where Spidey has to choose between his aunt dying of at the end of a very long life...oooorrr giving up his marriage through a deal with OMG THE DEVIL. Joe Quaseda, AKA Chief Dickwipe at Marvel decided that mere things like "backstory", "human emotions", "realism" and "not fucking moronic" were unimportant when compared to the tantalising opportunity for Spiderman to bang a variety of girls.

Spiderman is a tragedy atractor.
He gets his uncle killed, it takes him a lot for conquering MJ, he have to kill his friends father and then his friend becomes his enemy, and the list continues...
