EDIT: THERE IS MAN MEAT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS LINK
Daniel Tosh featured a video of Noit's dream trip to Ireland... I pulled the version that isn't on Comedy Central, though, as I would like for all of our members to see this randomness.

The Pants-Off Dance-Off

Title doesn't even say it all.

I've known people that get drunk and rowdy, I've known people that get drunk and handsy, but never have I seen anyone that gets drunk and gay (besides women, but that barely counts). Is that really typical of Ireland? O_o

I've never seen anyone do anything remotely like that, but I can say it doesn't surprise me.
It was probably somewhere in Dublin and it was Arthur's Day - the next best thing to St. Patrick's Day.

Any excuse, eh?

This is relevant to my interest.
But dammit, their celebration is much wilder than ours. Authur Day here was...Free beer.

Wow... just did a little research on Arthur's Day (as I've never heard of the holiday before)... and I have to admit that I went and confused myself.

First I stumbled upon the page for Arthur Day, the "cricketer who played for Kent during the period of the county's greatest success in the County Championship."

Admittedly, it seemed like a shaky premise for a holiday, but I think I was a little more disappointed when I found the actual reasoning behind Arthur's Day: the day when "Guinness drinkers are expected to raise a glass to the memory of Arthur Guinness."

Is Arthur's Day a nationally accepted holiday, or is it one of those things that everyone celebrates whether the government gives them a day off or not?

No, it's not really a holiday. All the piss-artists and those who happen to be off work that day go on a huge piss-up. It all started a few years ago when Guinness made it's 250 year anniversary or something like that. I'm not certain.

Don't worry, you guys needed some capitalist spending sprees. What better than beer, eh? It's consumable, perishable, and best of all - locally produced. Great way to boost GDP.

Might as well start exporting the holiday as well.

I hate to say it, but that's probably a holiday the US could get behind.

That was...disturbing. These guys were drunk right? I mean, it doesn't give them much, but at least it's better than doing it sober..
