If I disable Javascripts in my browser (Chrome / Firefox) I can cancel the execution of a CG and be safe?

Disabling Javascripts altogether will stop some sites from functioning correctly.

It's better to use a plug-in to choose which ones are "turned on".

Only want to know to be quiet, I've done this for a while to avoid CG :(

I have actually being cged once in 2011 when I had noscript enabled, so disabling javascript is not 100% safe.

Wow, this was posted over 3 years ago and TNT still hasn't done anything to fix it, nice.

Thanks for answering :)

I think the author took down Notscript for Chrome :\

Here's a script that does the same thing though it's called ScriptSafe:

https://chrome.googl...ahbdbdgdf?hl=en

The one for Firefox is still active though I believe.

this is what I got clicking onto no-script for chrome An error occurred: Item not found. This item may have been removed by its author.

Take me back to the store

I've been using uBlock origin for disabling javascript, but IDK if it'd be useful for preventing getting CG'd.

@Abradix I like to still run userscripts on Neopets, but these extensions block all scripting for the entire domain. Is there any way I can have my cake and eat it too? Is there an extension that allows me to use regex to only block scripting on user lookups, user shops, etc?
