oh I loved this series so sad to see it go bye bye u_u;

I used to really love them, but after waiting for a while for him to release more (I remember waiting for Snakehead lol), I just got bored :(

Terry Pratchett's Unseen Academicals. Love that guy's books.

Nothing right now, but I have the two latest WoT books to read.
Not to mention the new ASoIaF book in July. I might read the last few books in that series before then too, so I've got my work cut out.

I started re-reading my books by Matthew Reilly, starting with Seven Ancient Wonders.
If you're into action movies, then you should definately give Reilly's books a go,
they're all action packed. =D

I've read all his books at least 10 times each =p

Back on Terry Pratchett now after a marathon session for uni - in past week I have read:
Robinson Crusoe
Gulliver's Travels
Written on the Body.
Awesome stuff, though Robinson Crusoe annoyed me no end!

i just finished reading 'Temple' by Matthew Reilly
now reading 'Contest' by said author.

If anyone here likes action movies, then you'd definitely love reading his books. They're really fast paced.
and usually involve an underdog defending themselves or something against steams of special forces soldiers that are trying to kill them or obtain the important item that they currently possess.

I've been skimming A.J. Ayer's "The Problems of Knowledge'. I've yet to grow the balls necessary for studying it in-depth. :|

I'm currently reading "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. It's the 3rd book in the Da Vinci Code series. I'm a fan of Dan Brown.

I'm currently reading Warriors, its a book about four groups of cats that live in "clans" and have rivalries inside and out of clans.
In manga I'm reading whatever catches my interest.

I go through periods of three or so months where I only read books on theory, and then periods where I massively get in to fantasy. Right now I'm re-reading The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene and going through a few books on Python and Objective C.

Although, on the fantasy front, I'm currently on the third book in a series called Dreaming in Amber. I've only got them in electronic format, and have been slowly making my way through them during particularly boring lectures.

I recently finished Memoirs of a Geisha which was a really good read, then read the first two Pretty Little Liars books and am currently reading the third. I am also currently reading Alan Wake (really enjoy the video game so figured I would read the book).

I am constantly picking up new books at Borders (have a whole stack to read).

Currently working on: Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, Pinheads and Patriots by Bill O'Reilly, and a translated version of the Bhagavad Gita

Just finished: Freakonomics and SuperFreakonmics - I would recommend both!

Mentally prepare yourself.

Is it completely different than the movie or are they similar? I am sure there are differences (movies adapted from novels usually have some differences).

Lets see, I was reading Warriors by Erin Hunter, but I got to a stand still on that one (waiting for next book)

So now I'm reading The Last Apprentice series, and so far.. i think i've fallen in love all over again. It's by *looks for a book* Joseph Delaney and though the writing STYLE is a little young for me, the story is pretty decent.
