Wouldn't be the first time Microsoft has relied on others for success. Hell, they're part owners of Apple now, so even when you buy a Mac, Microsoft makes money. They're just in it to be conglomerated. They don't care if they're the best at any one thing, so long as their products are good enough that the majority (those sheep) will buy it or use it without question. Look at the leaps from software to hardware (XBOX, Zune, XB360), then websites, then better integration with hardware; they're just trying to penetrate as many markets as possible.Don't see how that would be effective for bing, as they are (it seems) relying on Googles success on order to list their own results. If everybody made the switch to Bing, what would happen to their searches with the lack of google search results?
Windows 7 phones have Bing on their startup pages, right? CiP.
