Okay, just to make sure this doesn't get crazy, I will try to edit the first post so that it has all the riddles and spoilers for answers. I am not going to start putting any answers in yet, but here are a few riddles:

1. A man lives on the 25th floor of an apartment complex. Every day he takes the elevator down to the lobby, but coming back from work, he takes the elevator to only the 20th floor and walks up the last 5 flights. That is unless it's raining, then he takes the elevator all the way up to the 25th floor. Why?

The man is a midget. He can reach the lobby button so he goes all the way down in the morning. But he can only reach as high as the 20th floor button unless he happens to have an umbrella.

2. My friend has 5 apples. He/She purchased them at the local grocery store. If I take two, my friend gives one to a homeless person, and eats one, how many do I have left?

4. I walk in to my winter cabin. It is night outside and so I would like to create a little light. I have a lantern, a stove and a candle. What do you recommend I light first?

5. I was doing 40 mph on a street where a black cat was lying in the middle of the road. Unfortunately, my head lights were out, and there was no street lights around my location. Yet I still managed to stop in time such that I didn't hit the cat. How is this possible?

An elemental riddle for all you nerds out there.

My first is solid, melting before only carbon and tungsten.

My second is Noble, the first of a long line.

My third is also Noble, and is common in the air we breathe.

My fourth paves the path all sinners must take.

My last is light and strong, and the most common metal in our home planet.

Together they form that which is necessary to have a great performance.



Just a few to start with. If there is interest I will post some more, and I will give a few hints along the way.

Yea I know, the internet makes original riddles tough to find. I have seen a few good ones, and if I can't find them on the internet then I'll post them here .

The first five are more to see how interested people are in trying some riddles .

the grave mistake is the fact tht NC goes for 2 mil for 1000 NC!!

srry for the spout, i hate tht i have to pay so much for 250 NC.

Fill the 3L bottle.
Pour the 3L into the 5L bottle.
Fill the 3L bottle again.
Fill up the 5L bottle with the 3L bottle.
What's left in the 3L bottle will be 1L.
