New Moderator

Hello everyone,

Please join me in welcoming jcrboy as the newest member of the Neocodex staff! He will hold the rank of global moderator, whose job is basically to help the administrators address reports regarding spam, flaming, harassment, inappropriate content and perhaps some scamming incidents here and there. We have met regarding certain issues currently facing the board, he has a great understanding of the site dynamics, and we are confident that he will do a good job.

Please give him the same respect you give the other staff (admins and programmers), and together we can make Neocodex a more tolerable place to chat.

Well, I think the general consensus is that JCR is fit for the job. He's welcoming and fair, and enthusiastic, but not in a scary Noit way. Also, he pretty much reads everything. So really, he's the best choice.

But of course, which is why I asked if there was anyone that actually was surprised by this announcement, it's been a concern for months now, and JCR is pretty much the forum favorite as is.

It was, it'll take a good load off of the other staff to focus on life and whatever, and hopefully JCR alone will be enough to calm the storm a bit.

Yo SL... I really liked the old blue for you guy's "Administrator" title... Why the change? (Other than the obvious that jcr boy needed a color for his title now and red seems more important than blue?)

P.s. I really miss my name being orange like it displays on the waybackmachine!!!

I dunno, it looked too much like the SuperMod tag, and I'm partially colorblind so it actually looked sorta the same...

I think the Abradix is a fun way of embracing an active newbie. Even though I was sick of his goofy face BEFORE everyone started using it.

It confused the hell out of me because I usually don't look at the avatar/name when reading responses, so when I read a post and I see that stupid signature underneath I wonder what the hell is going on until I look slightly to the left.
