To people who play... what do you use to solve the MP? I know there are databases of ITEM pictures... but what about every picture on Neo? And is there a tool you use that can zoom out to make it easier (although it might make it harder since it would get smaller....). It makes me sad when an MP goes by and no one on Codex (and as you saw today, no one on at all) figures it out... =(

I usually roam image databases I find on google. but idk about the zooming in thing. I just go on MS Paint and resize it to it's original size. Also the MPic image can be flipped/rotated, so the MPic image doesn't always fit the actual image. Did that make sense?

That explains the resizing. ;D

You don't need to, cuz the solution is actually a program :)

There's no way someone would be able to sift through the bajillion images on Neopets and match it with a small magnification, and do it on a weekly basis without committing suicide.

I've said this before, but my guess as how Waser and such solve them is with an image recognition bot that trawls a spider-built image database until it finds a perfect match of the images' identifiable pixel patterns.

Thank jeesus you people use a program. I would go insane if I had to figure out the mystery pic without one.

Not placing any blame... but how about those MPs when we don't get a solve? is it because the image isn't in the DB? or was Waser Lave just lazy those times ;)

Okay, all joking aside, I am seriously confused and unable to read any of the sarcasm in your guys' posts.

So, what I've gathered is:
1. Waser Lave has a program that figures out the MP automatically OR
2. Waser Lave IS a program that figures out the MP automatically (perhaps... a human program?)

Also, I've taken soul stealer's post to mean that when Waser Lave does not figure out the MP, it's because he took him into a back room and smeared him with oil.
