As MMPR was good because it was original, I'd definitely pick to Time Force.

-Opening theme had enough catchiness to be stuck in my head, but not enough for me to be embarrassed when I unconsciously sing it in class

Yay! Somebody picked something new!

Power Rangers Samurai plays on Nicktoons. It's so terrible that I'd rather watch Dr. Phil instead.

Haha, you and me both. Have a 100+ gig torrent of the American stuff and as many of the Super Sentai series as I could find.
Unfortunately still hunting for the Time Force equivalent and older as far as Super Sentai... and that was, by far, one of the best post-MMPR series. Second only to the newest one at least. :D

Ouch. I'm sorry. My parents are conservative, but they aren't that bad. The only show they ever asked me not to watch because they thought it was bad (other than blatant vulgarity/sexiness) was Witch Hunter Robin, and that was ONLY because they objected to the premise that the magical powers were a gift from God. I think it's silly, but it was coherent enough that I understood their concern.

I wasn't allowed to watch pokemon because my mother said that Jesse's stomach was exposed and so the show was inappropriate for children.

Hate to ressurect this after a month, but just thought y'all should know that Netflix just added most of the English Power Rangers series from original all the way through RPM.
Bit surprised by the quality of the original Power Rangers series after all these years. Not the best but bit better than tv.
Looking forward to catching up on the episodes of Time Force & Dino Thunder I missed, too.

    Netflix is pretty sweet, too.
Only like $8 a month for streaming only and $2 more for dvds.
Free 30 day trial and accept paypal if you don't have a credit/debit card.
Not bad, huge selection of tv & movies... thinking about dropping cable for awhile and testing this out for a few months.

In Space IS THE BEST! I think it had the best acting and revolved around much more serious topics, like death and family connections.

Yup, it looks like they have every single episode up to (but not including) Samurai now... and that's probably only a matter of time.
Even have that Alien Rangers bs. lol
Added it to my instant queue and have been watching most of them on my Xbox 360.

Still wish they'd get the Sentai series, but this will do for now. :p

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was actually before my time. By the time that I started to watch, they just finished Turbo and were starting in Space. A few years ago I watched all episodes up still SPD, but I still think Power Rangers in Space is the best. The storyline is good and I like the characters. About JDF, I thought he was wonderful in Power Rangers Dino Thunder. Which is my second favorite. I bought PRIS and PRDT both on DVD. At the moment I'm saving for PRTF.

Power Rangers Samurai, I actually watched one episode. I just thought it was awful. Just as the remake episodes of MMPR.

    They should've stopped after Turbo.

Meh, rather them skipped over Turbo and cancelled it at the end of Space if it had to end.
That Justin kid was the most annoying part of all series to date.
Though otherwise it wasn't that bad I suppose.
    Movie was pretty good also.
