But I also like PvE games such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro and what not.
Ive also played MapleStory for a long period of time back in the day, which really sucked the life out of me.
Honestly, I think Pvp games are a little more fun because it shows who's superior.
You lose; you suck.
You win; t-bag.

Especially in Black Op's Wager Matches, where you can bag on them while takin' them out.

Like CuriousOyster said. Although it all depends on the type of game.
War games like the CoD franchise, are for the most part balanced, so PvP is actually fun/preferred.
Games like Spyro even, and Genji, have a much better PvE playability.
I can't say Ive played MapleStory, but I've played Flyff, where PvE was awfully predictable and took way too long, while PvP was highly exploited with classes/items, etc.
Overall, its sometimes hard to find a game that has a good balance of both.
As for my opinion, I believe PvP games are funner, if games require skill, not button mashing, or one hit skills, etc.

PVE is just a lot more relaxing than scrambling to have your cake beaten out of you.

PvE is ok. It's the one I play the longest but it gets stale really really fast. RP is meh.

I pve'd for most of middle school spending over 7 hours a day raiding molten core and black win lair in world of warcraft never missing a single raid, until the GM decided to reset DKP for naxx release because i was so far ahead from everyone else in DKP, that i would get my pick of the loot first.
This "injustice" made me see that what i was doing was a total waste of time, and what i had earned was completely under the control of the Guild master, and i quit pve forever then and there.

But that gets quite monotonous so I'll switch it up for some PvP kill kill kill stab stab stab action.
PvP is much more satisfying but even constantly doing only that gets tedious so definitely need a good balance of the two.
It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezzes are cool.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect... but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff.
