I wish Mr. Holland's Opus had actually been a good composition though. They went through all the trouble of setting him up to be an armchair Mozart, only to have an orchestral arrangement worse than Universal's opening track. Disappointment.OK. ALL time?
Hard to say. Def between "Angels in America" and "Across the Universe"
Although all my favs tend to be the ones I cry over. Lol. I cried over "Big Fish" and "Mr. Holland's Opus"
To name a few off the top of my head...
American History, X
Clerks
Chasing Amy (All Kevin Smith films really, except Mallrats and J&SB)
Army of Shadows (in French of course)
Dr. Strangelove or, How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (great cold war flick, younger people should check it out)
Goodfellas
Persepolis
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Waltz with Bashir
I also like documentaries quite a bit.
Supersize me
Fahrenheit 9/11 or Bowling for Columbine (one dose of Michael Moore is all I can take in any given month)
Restrepo
