Just thought I'd read back as I found out Mike is another Aussie.
And I must mention, I live on the West Coast, close to the south of the west coast and I found a scorpion in my house the other day.
Not the best thing to come across at 1am in the morning as you're running to the kitchen to make your 6 month old a bottle.
Spiders are great. Sharks are too... It's those pesky Koala's and drop-bears you have to look out for :)

No i agree scorpions in ya house would be pretty shitty haha. Good thing we dont get em here where i live. Spiders and sharks i love with a passion. I havent got a problem with them whatsoever, as long as they keep to themselves.... haha

Those bloody drop bears though........ fuck ya gotta watch out for them ;) (yet another stereotypical thing that other countries have invented)

But then you guys ran with it. I remember seeing information on "protecting yourself from drop bears" on a real Australian tourism site.

Ever read any of the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett? Particularly The Last Continent? Posted Image

We go along with it because it's funny as all fuck to see American soldiers walking around during war games with vegemite smeared across their faces because drop bears can't stand the smell or taste of it.

But tbh they are nothing compared to the rare but deadly hoop snake.

I agree. coconut isn't very yummy :( I'll make a batch of orange chocolate lamingtons and send you some (and some to Strat, to replace the one Jayson stole).
