This is my second guide, I hope people appreciate this one more than the last one...
I'll explain how to know how much time and what price tou are going to recieve on the Monotony Wheel.
First Step: Spin the Wheel
Copy and paste this: http://images.neopet...eel_id=monotony into your browser, and spin the wheel.
Second Step:
Look at the right of the screen, there's a HTML code like this: <?xml version='1.0' standalone='no'?><message success="1"><status>1</status><user_spun>account</user_spun><prize>12</prize><spin_duration>1987000</spin_duration><unique_num>46703</unique_num><prize_message><P ALIGN="CENTER"><FONT SIZE="16"><A target="_blank" HREF="http://www.neopets.com/prehistoric/monotony/monotony2.phtml?user_spun=account&amp;r=9206"><U>Collect Prize</U></A></FONT></P>
The bold text is what we care about. The "12" means what price you'll receive and the "1987000" means how much it will take. (To know how much it will take you have to take off the last three zeroes in it (1987), divide the remaining number by 60 and you should get the number of minutes left. In this case would be 33 minutes)

List of prizes
1-Mazzew
2-Petpet Paint brush
3-Gourmt Food
4-Weapon
5-5.000 NP
6- (?)
7- Faerie Pancakes
8- Red Codestone
9- Bri Codestone
10-Volcano
11-Rock
12-Scroll/Poster
13- Lottery Ticket
14- Paintbrush
15- Beast
16- 20000 NP

If you don't want the prize you're going to receive, just close the window. If you like it you just have to wait until the wheel stops and make sure the above URL says done. Then go to the prize page to claim it.
I hope this is useful for you :)

    First step:
Error: There has been an error connecting to the script. Please try again later.

People should copy and paste this into their browser instead:

    http://images.neopets.com/prehistoric/monotony/wheel_of_monotony_v9.swf?prize_script=http://www.neopets.com/wheel_load_xml.phtml&wheel_id=monotony

And look there, you left your UN there. (removed)

Also, If you get a number 99, it means you either did not have enough NP to spin or have spun within the past 24 hours (although glitches may occur and result in a spin).

This guide reminds me of when I was in high school & I'd copy/paste information, switch around some words, and turn it in as my report.

But it's still nice to have on the forum for easier access. :)

Yay. I use the guide and it tells me I'll wait 73 minutes for a lottery ticket. I think not. Thanks for posting this :) I didn't think this trick worked anymore!! Saved me a shitload of useless waiting. :)

Uhm, I had a problem using your guide. I entered the URL you provided to the old Wheel of Monotony with some script stuff at the right side and spun the wheel; however, I was getting The Beast for prize, so I just refreshed and tried to spin again, but it said that I could only spin the wheel once a day, bla, bla, bla... So, what did I do wrong? I have to first spin the original wheel, then the one in the link you provide and then I'll be able to repeat the process until I get the prize I want?
    Thanks in advance.
