What's with people making these huge guides that take forever to load and read? -_-

I need it simple.

What's the cheapest weapons set and stats that would be able to get me the top trophies in The Defenders of Neopia series I and II? For stats I know I don't need movement but can I live without defense either? o.0

To get the best trophies, you're probably going to need mid tier or a VERY strong pet

i.e. SOS, PCC, ghostkerbomb, that area.

You don't need a strong pet or expensive weapons to beat DoN if you follow this simple to understand guide.

True that, but those require pretttyy good weapons :p And even if you deal a lot of damage with reflects, you're going to need at least high pretty high defense and HP if you're going to wittle them down but survive yourself

If you're just looking to beat em once, decent stats and some vpots is pretty much all you need.

this guide is very useful, the only drawback is that you may lose many times before you manage to get the top trophy:unsure:

Randomly Firing Freeze Ray doesn't really allow guaranteed chain freezing..for DoN people usually withdraw if fiery gaze/DD doesn't freeze on first turn, or if it does then they use H4000 Helmet or Scroll of Freezing. That being said, everyone should have a RFFR because they are so cheap for what it offers.

Personally, i expect the price for scroll of freezing to drop quite a a bit after this. It'll probably hover around the 60 - 70k mark, but for 1 player, it's just so much better. Besides DD/Fiery Gaze have their freezing percentage blown away by RFFR, and it gets very annoying constantly doing that, having a 50% freezer for so cheap really makes it a less pain.

Buy an HSD 600 lab-rat pet, V-Potion*2, the new randomly freezing gun, and you can finish DoN with some ease (the hardest part for me was unlocking the drenched as a challenger)

Lol, i beat the two series with my bd pet at L10. I'll say the most important weapons you need are gbomb, 100% freezer (you can get cheaper species-only alternatives like icy chia goggles, entangling lenny lasso, golden peophin harp), and the faerie abilities - burrow and sink.

A set where each item is less than a ghostkerbomb? (6-ish mil x 8), or total less than that?
