I preordered it, will be here on the 30th

What games are everyone going to buy? (Or have already bought, you lucky UK people)

I'm going to buy Streetfighter and Ridge Racer since they're the only good games, although the Ghost Recon game is sort of good too.

I know everyones going to buy the later games like legend of zelda, but I'm just talking about the launch games right now

I'm not buying it until it's remodeled into the 3DSi XL Plus Mark 3.
I've already played this game, Nintendo.

Also when it has actual good games and isn't so expensive. The reviews on the launch games are horrible.

Street Fighter is definately the best game of the bunch. Pilotwings Resort probably next but it's sorta more novelty and wont hold your interest for long. I'm not buying one (I don't think) I just spend all day playing with one at work at the minute . Aaah life before a graduate job <3.

If I were to get one though I think it'd be the blue 3DS with Streetfighter and Rayman, though I haven't seen a review for Rayman so maybe that's why . Future wise I'd want Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and Legend of Zelda and probably a million of others.

From what I've read, street fighter seems to more positive reviews, so i'd be more inclined to get that. That said, I don't think I'll get the 3DS on launch date. I'll probably wait a month or two to see if the novelty of 3D wears off with my friends.

lol i Think the novelty wont last long for people who get it, i give it a week or so of amazement and then 3 weeks of cherishment and then they would take it for granted xD

And I think I'd probably die from shock at the screen size. Because I've got the DSi XL right now and when I look at my mums normal DS I don't know how she can play games like that. Such a small screen size.


So until they release the 3DS XL or something I'm sticking to my DSi XL...
Or until they stop releasing normal DS games

Another 2 hours and I can head down to work to pick mine up, hopefully it'll be like Cataclysm and I'll be the only scrub there getting it right when the doors open.

Probably going to get Steel Diver and Nintendogs because I'm a sucker for those cute animals, and hopefully Street Fighter 4 will be in as well, but it's Wal-Mart so I somehow doubt it.

If they do release a pokemon game that is full 3D, not black and white which are only partial. Then I'd buy the 3DS immediately =p

true, there's most likely another system in the works, but I only buy a new console if it's truely a successor, and not a mere variation, like the DS lite, dsi, XL were of the original DS.

If you ask me, 350 isn't that bad of a price to be honest, i realize yes it is nintendo's most pricey hand held device on the market but seriously ? your getting the better graphics, more powerfull processing, more apps and features, the parrallax screen system and it only comes to 350... seems like a pretty good price to start off with, and to think they were being told it would go for 400 US a few months ago...

I've had a single DS from when it was released 6 years ago, I haven't "been brainwashed" into buying each new model whenever it came out, and with all the games I want coming out of for the 3DS, I'm going to buy one anyways.

i just find it weird that it's priced more expensive than the wii, their home console system.
The cheapest australians can get the 3ds is 288 as far as i'm aware.
I'm just waiting for either a pokemon or mario game that's fully 3d. Most likely i'll get it when mario kart 3ds comes out. =]
