So to get the Imposter Apple avatar you have to win a Imposter Apple or get a Imposter Apple stolen .

So here's what I did to get the avatar.
1.Deposit all your items in your inventory into your SDB
2. Buy a Imposter Apple from the shop wizard.
3. Now whenever you go to play the Apple Bobbing game make sure you only have the Imposter Apple in your inventory, so if you do get the event where you lose a item the only item for the game to take is the apple thus giving you the avatar.

Yeah, I've been doing this exact thing for 2 months daily. Nothin' yet.

Interesting, I didn't know that you could get the avatar from losing an Imposter Apple. However, I was lucky enough to get the Avy within a month though

It's not really a new method... anyway I got it the second day of the avvy's release from bobbing up it. Haven't played since.
