I tried the technique for about a week but got nothing... then the Pant Devil stole my Imposter Apple and the same day... I was too lazy to buy another, went Apple Bobbing and got the event when you lose one item -__-

I have the absolute worst luck with random avatars, despite trying for years (with other ones - obvi not the imposter apple one)

I've been trying this for over 2 months now and nothing. I used to lose items quite frequently to apple bobbing, UNTIL I started doing this. I wonder if my chances would increase if I have more imposter apples in my inventory. They probably wouldn't but I wonder if it's just pure luck that nothing is falling in, or it has something to do with having an almost-empty inventory.

Please please correct me if I'm wrong but if the pant devil steals it doesn't that get you the avatar too? If that's the case couldn't you increasing your chance of getting the avatar by spinning the wheel of misfortune too?
