Public proxies are definitely slower than normal internet connection.
I would suggest looking for a private proxy or even buying one.

Mhm. I don't want to use a proxy anymore. I want to use my /old/ internet. It affected my router and my step-dad is sort of pissed at me.

Try turning off your computer and seeing if the connections speed up of the other computers. You might have a worm/trojan

^ Toxic. I'll try that, thanks! It was still slow even when my laptop was off. But that may be because I put it on standby.

Just restart the router. Also for proxy servers check out www.hidemyass.com theres some pretty decent high anon ones on there, I used to use that site all the time before I got my VPN.

+ Foxyproxy SHOULD. Be it infected ALL my internet IE AND Firefox I tried whatismyip but I don't know if I'm using the one from america or my own ip. I think its my own ip since I uninstalled foxyproxy and everything but I can't be sure Thanks for your help guys ^^+rep.
edit: soul_stealer. Sorry I used all my rep today D: I'll rep ya tomorrow.
@ Dark. Its better! It's not completely fixed, but pages are faster to load. Still can't watch videos but I'm still happy, thanks !
