Thanks for the code, GATX!

If you use it, just remember to wait before sending the score, because the code makes scoring super fast. I'd suggest around 0.8 - 1 minutes per 100 points, so 8 - 10 minutes for a score of 1,000 points.

I think the review score, (as of like 2012) is around 1,250 so be careful!

If someone could back me up on this that would be cool too.

Yep Taylorbeam, I just saw a post saying their score of 1300 was being reviewed.  Unless you really want AAA prize I would stay around 1100 to be safe.

Nothing is ever 100% safe. It has a smaller risk than using a score sender, but there is still a risk along with it.

Just be reasonable with times, make sure there isn't a max score, and don't go over the review score (so don't go for AAA's score that goes over the review). To get a longer time, leave the screen up where it says "send score". Don't click "send score" just yet, go and do something else and come back. That helps a bit with times.

Oh and check the HST to see what some of the scores end in, that way you don't send a score which isn't on there. So if nothing ends in a 0, it most likely means getting a score ending in 0 isn't possible.

(Skirmish had a ton of freezings because people sent scores ending in "00" which is impossible for that game. (so the HST didn't show too many of those, which should alert you to the fact that it probably isn't possible to get a score ending in a '00".)

With this AoB all of us are going to be sending scores of 1,200... which is difficult to get in the first place, since it is as if we got no gems during gameplay and are only gaining points from completing levels. (10 per gray fighter and 15 per red fighter at the beginning of the level) while purple gems give 50 points, so unless you spawn right next to one and get it, your score will look quite suspicious in my opinion. But, then again, TNT are quite oblivious.

I personally would have preferred an AoB with a permanent cloak or have the infinite lives AoB actually work to feel safe with it, since the scores as of now look way too similar.

When I sent my score, I did it after I was spawned next to a few purple gems in one game. Still suspicious, but not as suspicious looking as 1.2k, in my opinion.

You have three options if you're paranoid about the 1.2k scores:

  1. Use the infinitive lives code in the OP: http://www.neocodex....r/#entry1454863
  2. Disable the GATX's code in the easier levels to collect some gems
  3. SS your score: GameID: 400 Score: 1115-1190 Time: 600-800 Mod 5 OR GameID: 400 Score: 1300-1400 Time: 750-900 Mod 5 (the latter is over review)

OPs doesn't work, but #2 would have been smarter than me doing 30 or so games attempting to get some games where I spawned next to a couple of the gems

Thanks though! /overly paranoid

The blue gems downgrade all the 15 point red ships in the level to 10 point grey ships. So if you start a level right next to a blue gem, collect it and your score will be less than 1200 at the end ;D

Added Invincible aob to my previous post in case anyone would rather prefer that.

Edit: There is an issue with Invincible that causes the enemy to always follow the same path as your ship. I suggest using 'Enemies Don't Follow' with it.
