But I've read the whole thread, I agree with it AND it made me giggle a bit.

Loose enough that it's not a good way to use it for Advancement, I've gotten rep points for telling people to fuck off pretty much, and more or less I didn't even deserve the rep, but I got it anyways.

That's why it's not a good idea to use reputation points in any calculation. If anything, only negative rep should be used to obliterate posts.

No, you didn't imagine it. We just haven't implemented it yet, and we're kind of waiting until the "new" version of the site comes out to do that. Hydro and Pyro are working on it, sorta.
