As of now my virus scanner has detected that 1500 and counting .exe, and other I'mportant files are infected with a trojan. If I don't post updates it means, I killed my computer :p

Lol I am using McAffee. I swear everyti'me mymom gets on the computer something happens :p . So far the cleaning proces isn't going to bad. However a lot of the files are deleted, and others are missing. Do ya think that losing 1750 exe files or so mayt mess up my comp :p

I would trust mcafee...but I wouldnt go through each of the files to see what it was deleting :p

but I know what you mean...a while back we used to only have 1 computer in the house that was connected to the internet. that computer was mine and whenever my grandpa got on it...the computer fan started to sound like a horse...it was LOUD...I'm not sure what he did on it but ive never made it sound like that no matter how many ti'mes I try...and no matter how many programs I open... :o   :o

Kapersky puts a stupid tag on all your files and when you delete it, it takes a long ti'me to delete the tags. Kapersky takes so long to scan, and WHY wont it scan protected files? Like passworded zips.

Well the verdict is 1200 or so things deleted to complete clean process, and the other 563 not found. My computer isn't dead so I guess the danger is averted for now.
