Invasion of Meridell Guide

Want to get the shiny avatar pictured above? All you have to do is start a new mission within the same month and finish Mission 7! This guide will help you easily finish Invasion of Meridell, since I have observed that there are not many guides on it.

Introduction -

Each Mission has 3 battles. If you lose a battle, you must start off at the 1st battle again. So you have to beat 3 battles without losing to win each mission!
Your mission is to defeat the invaders and protect the villages from damage. If too many villages are overrun by invaders, you will have to restart the mission.

You have 5 players on your team (Moehog, Grundo, Skieth, Techo, and Scorchio).
You need each of the 5 players on your team to effectively beat the game to Mission 7. However, you MUST arm your players with certain items that give them abilities and attack/defense points). If you do not collect an item, you will have to start over because you need these abilities.

In each mission there is a lost item. Try to collect the lost item at the end of the 1st battle for each mission because it gives the players +1attack and +1defence.

The game depends partially on luck. Each time you attack an invader, a dice is rolled (1-20) and your attack points+the dice-the invader's defense determines how much damage is done. So the more attack points you have, the more you are likely to damage an invader. Conversely, the more defense points you have the less likely an invader will damage you.

GENERAL TACTICS:
Move your players once at a time Mission 1-2. Make a liner of players above the villages to stop the invaders from overruning the villages. If one of your player's health becomes too low, move that player back a space or onto a healing potion.

Allow each of your players to become defenders (3+ saves) so that their attack and defense points are elevated.

Missions 3-7, move your primary attack players (skeith, scorchio, and moehog) first above the villages. Then move the secondary attack players (techo, grundo) up. Keep the grundo away from multiple invaders because it cannot heal itself. Your grundo should be used primarily as a healer.

Make sure that the invaders do not collect as many defense/attack items as you can.

Have each of your players collect the new attack and defense items so that their stats are increased at the beginning of each mission.

Each time you defeat an invader, move that saved invader out of the way of the enemies so that they are not attacked. Use one of the invaders to collect the lost item at the beginning of each mission.

Items in PURPLE are needed to obtain the avatar and finish the Mission 7.

MISSION 1 - Invader Moehogs
This mission is quite easy and should be finished with ease.
Attack Items - Mace/Sword
Defense Items - Staff (Grundo Item)
Make sure your skeith, scorchio, and moehog collect the attack items first as these will be your primary attack players. And make sure they have staffs for defense as they will be on the front line and attacked the most by the invaders.

MISSION 2 - Invader Techos
Attack Items - Bow (Scorchio Item)/Hammer
Defense Items - Amulet (Skeith Item, allows skeith to transport)

MISSION 3 - Invader Skeith
Attack Items - Scroll (Grundo Item, allows grundo to heal)/Beserker Battle Ax (can only be held by players with 14+ attack)
Defense Items - Helmet (Moehog Item)/Shield (Techo Item)

MISSION 4 - Invader Scorchios
Attack - Scroll (Grundo Item, allows grundo to heal)/Bow (Scorchio Item, allows scorchio to hit opponents two squares away)
Defense - Amulet(Skeith Item, allows skeith to transport)/Robe (Grundo Item)

MISSION 5 - Invader Grundos
Attack - Scroll (Grundo Item, allows healing)/ Ax
Defense - Helmet(Moehog Item, allows moehog to dispel disenchatment on grundo)/Shield

Congrats! You've made it to the second wave. Now there are 2-3 additional invaders that are a pain to kill. They have 25 defense points and require multiple tries to lower their health. They also cast disenchantment on skeiths to stop them from being able to transport and grundos to stop them from being able to heal. Make sure you have collected the items in PURPLE in the previous missions or you will NOT be able to beat Mission 6 and Mission 7.
Make sure that your techo, moehog, and grundo do not pick up other items and lose these important items.

MISSION 6 - Invader Moehogs and 2 Invader Buzzes
Attack - Double Sword (Techo item, allows techo to dispel disenchantment on skeith)
Defense - Leather Vest (Only works for Scorchios, Moehogs, and Techos)

MISSION 7 - Invader Techos and 3 Invader Buzzes
Attack - Halbred (gives the player unlimited moves. Useful to beat invader buzzes without changing players)
Defense - Chain Mail

Yay! Now you have a shiny new avatar :)

    Thank you, hoping to have the avatar by the end of this upcoming weekend...I find this game obscenely boring!

    Invasion of Meridell is down for maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience. Why not try one of our many other games?

    I'm still getting this mesage when i click on the shortcut to this game... is everyone also still getting this?
