Basically, you run it, and right click the minimize icon of a program (Custom GUI's MAY or MAY NOT work. iTunes has it's own feature to be in the taskbar, so don't bother with that one.)

I did not make this, it's just a pretty sweet program featured by Lifehacker, a site I'm always keeping up with. :3 Posted Image

It's the pervert privacy you've always been looking for! :D (You just better be quick with it!)

...anyways, click the image for the download page. It's from Deviantart.

    I was joking :I Sheesh!

I use things that already go into the taskbar for the most part, but I like keeping things away for MUCH later use, cause my laptop is on...A LOT. :I

    Notepad, etc.

    I love Lifehacker :D

This is a great thing to have to clean your taskbar up, especially if you keep lots of programs open at one time.

i remember back in highschool, i'd play playing starcraft against my friends whenever we were in a computer room for either I.T. or just to use them,
we'd run a program called double desktop and hide our game as soon as the teacher came around
ahh the good ol days, i'll definately get this a try =] thanks for sharing

but windows already lets you minimize to a single small icon with the (gasp) minimize button. why do you need a program to do what the taskbar settings already can?

oh and windows+down arrow for the hotkey thing

Seeing an icon in the tray, and seeing it in the task bar are two different things, man.

    Hahah, this is awesome.
Too many times my Dad has walked into my room and seen me exit out of whatever I was doing. xD He always checks my history after that.

No man, it could be simmilar, but definitely not the same.

You can have over 40 different programs on the tray.
Or maybe just watching what you re doing on the taskbar and hide the ones that you want on second plane.

Hideit is a nice tool :)

    Oh, this is super useful!

I used to read lifehacker all the time, now I barely visit that site anymore. :/ They've shown me so many nifty little tricks.

Same, the community really went to a downhill bitchfest after a while. The whole thing about 7-days-of-steel-cut-oats-in-15-mins was kinda cool. Oh and they introduced me to Tofu for OS X. Helps a lot with homework assignments.
