If you are not buying items from 12 am to 4 am the answer seems simple - don't buy between 12 am and 4 am.

yes that is quite obvious I was more posting the information in-case others were experiencing the same results

To lower my buy times to competitive levels I'm having to lower the OCR delay to sub-half-second times. =/

This.
Who buys in that time frame anyways?
You gotta think, more items in shop, less likely to restock.
Few people online between 12 and 4, means shops won't sell items, meaning they have no reason to restock.

According to my calculations, using this method you'd be able to max out your daily interest in about 7 years.

There's nothing you can do, just wait for it to sell.

I AB around 10-4am frequently and always get the best items around those times. Way less competition. Sure you don't get as much items because there are only 4-6 open spots for the shop to restock. You have to AB in a shop like magic, stamps, plushie blah blah that have expensive items because they won't fill up as much with useless items with shops like foods etc.

I lowered my OCR/Prehaggle because I missed many items. I think it's because I'm european.
I've made a test at Tiki Tack.
My new Buying Times are now: 1592ms, 1998ms and 1540ms
Do you think these times are good?

Having advanced is a big advantage, but the average non-advanced user should be able to make a profit without it. What is your internet connection and which continent are you on?

Wow and I thought my buy times were slow :S I guess it also depends on your ISP too. I'm with Adam Internet and they're relatively quick in terms of up/down speeds and result in buy times of ~1750-2200ms here. Not sure why yours are so high :/

Just a heads up guys, got frozen while following this guide for the past couple of months. Only restocked for periods of 2 hours twice a day, with 4-8 second refresh times. My buy times ranged from 1200-2500 MS. Maybe TNT is getting smarter, but be careful everyone!

The methods detailed in Scot's super system posts aren't completely safe, because we don't know what type of criteria TnT uses to determine who to freeze. One of the few correlations to freezing that we do understand somewhat well, is that shops such as Stamp and Magic have a much higher freeze rate than shops such as Food. The point of the guide is to show you that you can make a very significant profit, while avoiding those previously mentioned high-risk shops. I doubt that TnT is getting smarter, and I bet their freezing criteria haven't changed in many years. You just got unlucky mate :(
