I've ABed a lot since a year ago and have lots of accounts and a VPN that's both dynamic and I can change the physical location of often.. suffice to say I've had a lot of experience. I've had dozens of accounts frozen for ABing over the course of 12 months, and the common denominator is that they had buy times under 2000ms. I've never had an account frozen when buy times have not dipped below 2000ms. I've also had accounts not frozen despite having buy times under 2000ms. The treshold might be closer to 1500 or 1700ms. But 2000ms has been safe for me 100%. Currently my avg buytimes are around 2200-2600ms.

Hey this is my first post here... I've been using advanced Abrosia for about 3 weeks now. Been restocking at the post office as well as AAA on the same account with (and I haven't been using Neotracker) typically close to 1000-1200ms purchase times for the former and 600-800ms for the latter. Using it at about 4 hours per day, I'm a bit surprised to say I'm profitting no where near as much as in the guide or other people - I'll have made around 10-15M at the end of the month (this is including a 2-2.5M profit purchase). This is nice and all and probably safe as well but wondering how I could make so little in comparison. By the way I'm not whining and the guide/program is absolutely great, I'm just curious what I might be doing that is causing vastly different results.

10-15m seems a decent return for 3 weeks, how old is your account?

A whopping 11 years old :p, why do you ask?

Just wondering in case you were limited by rarity. :p I think the problem is that the data you're comparing your results to is over a year old and some items have deflated a lot since then and because there are fewer players online there are also fewer restocks happening.

Ah that makes sense. Also one question I had - is doing the AAA with the normal shop kinda risky? I've stopped doing it for now because most of the time I get HTS clothing items anyways (of course it's still profit)...

I think your results are pretty standard. I live pretty far away from TNT servers so my buy times are quite slow, and I stay out of any "high risk" shops. I can make anywhere from 200-400k a day on average from 1-3 hours of ABing. This is what I've observed over the past 2 weeks (not accounting for the occasional UB I get, which would make that average a bit higher).

If Scot ran his test again, I'd assume a decrease in profits largely because there are so many shops that are now full of 24 junk items, which leads to more competition in the faster/better shops.

If 1500 ms is the threshold, then almost every magic rser will be frozen soon lol

Hi guys - I'm new to NeoCodex and the whole AB-ing thing. I installed NeoCodex and Abrosia about a week ago and didn't get much in the way of goodies.

Just a word of advice to anyone who has problems with Neopets Premium and Aboria: disable the Premium Toolbar via Neopets Site Preferences before using Abrosia! :D This took me a while to figure out and once I had sorted it I discovered it was written somewhere on the forum here.

Anyway, aside from a rambly post - I also became an Advanced Member (?) earlier and five minutes ago managed to get a Plushie Bori Morphin Potion. So yeh...dayum...Abrosia works! :D (I think I'll stop using it now for a few days....avoid getting Iced)

It doesn't exist any more because the sponsor links stopped working.

I read that AB from Stamps can get you iced. I am able to get UB stamps with buy times ranging from 1600ms to 1900ms. Is that risky or safe? My default settings are slightly above what Scot has in his sample OP pic.

inb4 Abrosia.

Also, it really is helpful, you just have to get the perfect timing down of when to do the ABing.

That's the kicker through isn't it? Timings are pretty hard to pin down

So i just started using this, and since I'm not an advanced member I just ABing at Igloo and Attic. Since the buy delay isn't factored into buy time, are these times normal?

Igloo: 320 ms

Attic: 717 ms

I know those would be a definite freeze in main shops but it seems there's no other way to control buy times in those two things since Buy delay isn't factored in and OCR is only a main shop thing.

Yes those are normal and you can tweak those times by changing the pre haggle setting :)

Aight good to know those are normal times, thanks. But when I hover over the pre-haggle it says that it isn't factored into the logged buy times (that's what I meant when I said buy delay).
