Ok I checked with my bank and they said that if i use paypal to order something that the order will be a direct debit and that i will be able to take awhile to pay back the overdrawn balance...

SO what i did was ordered a phone of roughly 750 bucks and paypal payed it, my bank account on net bank said the payment went through, the website said that it was all succesfull and paypal said the payments were complete...

The Website mobicity.com also has shipped the phone and the tracking number says it is due to arrive on monday....

But now after a day i checked my netbank to find myself not in debt and that i was charged a 5 dollar unpaid payment fee... i checked with paypal and everything seems fine, i sent a ticket to mobicity and have yet to hear back but according to netbank (commonwealth) the payment was apparently bounced or something due to not enough funds... even tho it was meant to be a direct debit

SO I AM CONFUSED AND STRESSED AND SORRY FOR SPELLING AND STUFF!!!

So... i was told due to federal law (not sure wether this applies for me in australia) but apparently the package is mine...

Dunno fruityone i just dunno have a feeling the whole thing has been cancelled so i have contacted paypal and also mobicity, have asked what the go is with paypal and also asked wether or not mobi city may still be able to send me the phone but charge my account by direct debit which should mean i can pay it off like i was originally told

Just say you never received it. Paying 760 dollars for a phone is criminal.

They shipped it without a total confirmation and you received it due to federal law the package is yours, but morality says fix it.

Here is were things stand legally.

You are allowed the keep the phone, but if they request actual payment, you must pay them, or return the phone.

Morally it is a completely different story, but that is something for you to decide on.

This, but there are more stipulations iargue there is a decree on receiving stolen goods. This is what it would be "classified as"

Ok... So... IF they still have payment from paypal... and my bank has not allowed the money to be payed to them... then.... how do i pay paypal back?

Because the other day my netbank showed my overdrawn account and then today shows that its no longer overdrawn

That's honestly up to whoever tells you that you have no paid them and requested money. Paypal may have gotten money from your bank still, and is completely happy. You basically have no idea who was paid at this point, and should wait for someone to request payment.

Ok then ill just have to wait and try not to stress about it but it sounds awesome that paypal and mobi could both have the money and i sorta wouldnt have paid for it i guess but anyway thanks for help
