Uhh if the plot has something related to Krawk Island and them losing, wouldn't it seem more likely that its been rigged? Or do you think they just would have changed the plot accordingly to the group that got second place.

Maybe they'll open Lutari Island. Krawkians ask for help to nearby island (Lutari) they come back and kick the Kraken's ass, they win and Krawk island gets revamped and Lutari Island released. People happy because they've been asking it for years, and TNT happy because they don't have to create new stuff from scratch.
