After a lot of requesting by users to know why various users on the forum were banned, we have made the Banned/Suspended members area viewable by the public again.

It is located here: http://www.neocodex....warned-members/

The current entries in there have been made invisible until we can clean them up for public view -- some of the topics contained information about the users that is best not to be made public for privacy reasons.

Do not end up in this section, please.

Oh I just posted a status about this before the topic was placed. Good to see we have one of these, I'm always curious about why people were banned.

IP addresses, PM conversations, that sort of stuff. Also, all bans have to be cleared by the administrators, so they're done after some consensus.

Why not make it a subforum of Announcements/Notices, it's kinda just a big block in the main forums that no one can really post on thus far.

Good idea on the subforum but the reasoning behind the no posting is that these are made just for viewing and understanding. Letting members post in these would create havoc and controversy on some cases. I would give you examples but until the section is completely back up I don't think old bannings would show.

I know the reasons behind no posting I was just using it as a support for my argument that it should be made as a subforum, it's kinda in the way as it is right now =)
