Electronic Popple is the game. It was released in 1997 i beileved i played it when i was young and had original CD but i have no idea where it is and searched everywhere.
Ive been looking to download it but cant find it aswell :/

does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? or if you have it would you mind uploading it somewhere and sharing with me?

Thanks

Just thought id change this thread instead of making a new one

So update i got the game *thanks to people on this thread* and now i realised its actually that old it wont work on windows 7 x64 bit. So i got DOSBox seeing as Electronic Popple is a DOS game. I got the setup working and i cant hear no sound so i just chose on the setup "no sound" now if you are familier with DOSBox what comes up next is one of those program screens (like black with white writing or whatever) and i try execute my game file "POPPLE.exe" but it says a cd needs to be inserted. So i tried mounting but i couldnt mount it either.

Does anyone know how i can solve this? or maybe just give me a whole new solution how to get it working without using DOSBox?

I used
http://www.dosbox.co...ation_of_DosBox
AND
http://www.dosbox.co...DOSBoxShortcuts

to get this far

and
http://www.dosbox.co...D=2960&letter=E
^ the dosbox website says it is supported.

Thanks for help in advanced

This seems to be one of the only proper torrent listings:

I don't know the game, so I can't vouch for its authenticity, but you should find out if you look into it :p

Electronic Popple is a recent but sadly unknown platform game that puts you in a role of ROM or RAM, two memory chips that must journey through the insides of the computer to vanquish the evil electrical components. Both the level design and monsters are imaginative-- you'll fight evil resistors, capacitors, and more on circuit boards that can hinder your progress. Between levels, animated cut-scenes advance the plot and introduce new computer characters.
For some reason, CAPCOM published this rare underdog only in several countries in Asia, and only shortly in the US. Here's your chance to see why it's up in our Hall of Belated Fame :) Very cute, and lots of fun. Highly recommended, especially if you're a fan of platform genre.

This game appears to be abandonware

It looks like an advertisement video, try the direct link. If that does not work I downloaded it and can upload to some upload service, just let me know which one works for you.

i played a DOSbox game recently and i used this guide to get it up and running successfully with sound and all that.

http://www.glennsgui...e-download.html

Any game installed with dosbox probally uses the same set of instructions so give the guide i linked a try, i know its a different game but still, the steps should be the same.

note that the .exe names are different (cause different game) so keep that in mind when you get to the steps that ask you to enter the name of the exe to run.
