So I recently installed halo 2 on my new laptop. I know that halo 2 wasn't meant for windows 7, but microsoft says Win7 should work. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936820

I'm pretty sure my Geforce 550m, 6gb of ram, and i5 (2.30ghz, 4 cores) fulfills the hardware requirements. Is there any way to fix this crash problem? I've tried various compatibility options to no avail. Any suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that there is a patch somewhere you have to install to play it on win 7. not sure.

First thing I did when I got the laptop 3 days ago (before I installed halo 2). I had gone to the nvidia site to specifically look for the most current driver for my Geforce 550m, halo 2 still crashes.
