What's your thoughts on the whole thing about lady gaga being the lead singer of queen?
    Ugh.
I'm a huge Lady Gaga fan, but it simply isn't Queen without Freddie. I even hated they had Paul Rogers in the band. John Deacon had the right idea of quitting
But since they have to make money, I guess, I wouldn't mind seeing Gaga become a rockstar. She's certainly theatrical. And in my opinion she's hotter and a better singer than Paul Rogers.

You know, growing up I always thought Jimi Hendrix was overrated, but they played him on the radio the other day while I was doing laundry, and I really got to listening and I suddenly feel like I've been missing out all these years. :(

I agree that it isn't Queen without Freddie but i suppose if Gaga were to front it then at least it might get some younguns interested and make them more aware of the band and it's history.
I was also the same with Jimi, granted i'm only 18 but i only truly appreciated him and his music early this year. Sure i'd heard his name thrown round a lot but i figured it was a stoner thing :p Got listening to his cover of All Along The Watchtower and i was blown away.
The young guy in my first picture is actually Johnny Marr, if you haven't already heard some of his stuff especially from The Smiths i suggest you check him out. He's also actually played on a couple tracks from John Frusciante's album The Empyrean :)

Holy fuckin' shit I love The Empyrean. Lookin' at the little booklet, it seems Johnny Marr plays on "Central" which I listen to every day on my lunch break when I'm having a smoke, meditating, and trying to focus on anything else but wanting to kill everyone in sight. I'm definitely going to check him out.
What would be a good Smiths album to start off with?

I'd say go for The Queen Is Dead, notable songs for me from that album are:
That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore (Those rippling riffs are just blissful)
    How Soon Is Now
There is a Light That Never Goes Out
    This Charming Man
    I Want The One I Can't Have
    Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now

But my personal favourite Smiths song would be from the album Strangeways, Here We Come, and it's called "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before". Long title i know :p

Here's a little treat for ya

Hey man, this album doesn't have "How Soon is Now" on it! I love that song. *grumpy face*
:p I'll give the Queen is Dead a listen anyway.

LMAO I can't watch Eddie Vedder's ridiculously awkward little dance. But the guitar sounds amazing.

No idea who the Stone Roses are. And no. No one else is reading this except for you and me.

Just download it separately :p. And ikr about Eddie, it's like he wants to be playing the guitar but it looks like some kind of retarded t-rex dance. The Stone Roses are another band that were big in the 80's over here you might recognise one of their tracks called "Fools Gold". Also check out "I Am The Resurrection", the last 4 mintes of the song you'd think would be boring but it has got to be the best outro i have ever heard, i reckon you'd like it.

With Journey being my favourite band, it is only right for Neal Schon to be my favourite guitarist
