Q: Are the programs safe to use?
A: All of our programs are safe to use. We thoroughly test all programs before they are released, and can ensure that they are virus free, and will not get you instantly iced, always use caution when cheating, abusing it will result in you being frozen. With over 250 active members each day, you can confidently use the programs knowing that they are legit.
Q: Will I get frozen for using X program?
A: All programs on the site have been tested against having a high freeze rate, and none of them have any. All of the programs have been used constantly for over a month without resulting in a freeze on multiple accounts. Regardless, if you abuse the programs, you will be frozen. The following programs have the highest risk of being frozen, but only happens if you are stupid: Abrosia, Score Sender. The rest of the programs are known to have a very low freeze rate, and only result in freezing if you blatantly abuse them (Running for over 24 hours on auto players, using multiple programs at the same time, etc)

Q: Can I run X program with X program?
A: You can run two programs with other programs, Kad Feeder and Autotrainer. All other programs make too many requests to be safely used with other programs, and run a high risk of getting you frozen.
Q: I've been running Abrosia for hours, and I've got nothing
A: This sometimes is normal for the program, because Restocking is done randomly in shops, and you have competition from other people trying to buy, there is always a chance that when you refresh in the shop you already missed a restock. Generally lowering your profit, picking a less competitive shop, or reducing your refresh times will allow you to see items much more often (Through refreshing faster will increase the rate at which you get restock banned (Can't see any items for 6/12/24 hours))
Q: Abrosia is saying that I'm Restock banned. Help!
A: After a certain amount of refreshes in a shop within a period of time (Seems to be random) Neopets will ban you from restocking. The effect of this is that you will no longer be able to see any items in any shops until the ban runs out. The ban usually runs out in 12 hours, though some are shorter, and others are longer. There is nothing you can do but wait.
Q: I got frozen, what do I do?
A: Start rebuilding. TNT seems to be random when freezing people. People have cheated for years and not been caught, others have cheated for days and been frozen. Play it safe and try again until you learn how to avoid their radar and earn lots of money. If you were frozen for using a program to buy items for you, it means you used Abrosia too much, or had unsafe settings. Review the time that it took you to purchase items, and how long you were running it. Running it for hours is not very human like, and buying things under 1500ms usually ends up in you being frozen. If you were frozen for cheating at flash games, you entered an invalid score or time on a game, review the times that you are sending and make sure each one is valid. If you only used a single program besides the ones mentioned, and did not run them for long periods of time, PM a programmer so they can investigate.
Q: How do I make lots of Neopoints?
A: Making a lot of neopoints usually requires you to understand how neopoints are made, and take advantage of that. The basic guide to making Neopoints is to use the NP gen to get startup cash, and then buy items from shops and sell them to others for much higher amounts. The biggest mistake that noobs make is that think you can only make money with high profit items, and always try for morphing potions and such. There are thousands more low profit items then there are morphing potions, and you can easily make plenty of money from buying cheap things. Look at Scots Guide for examples. Also part two.
Q: What are safe settings for Abrosia.
A: This is one of the biggest mistakes that all noobs make when using Abrosia for the first time. Never use anyone else's times. Everyone has different internet speeds, and different distances to the Neopets servers. For instance, someone on the east cost with a 0.4 second haggle delay might buy things from shops in 1000ms, while someone on the west coast will buy it in 1800ms. Using someone else's times will result in different buy speeds, and usually result in you being frozen. The best way to know what settings are safe is to simply use the default settings. They were tested for months to ensure that they balances profit and security. If you want to adjust them, try buying items in the Tiki Tak and work your buy times to be between 1500 and 1800ms, which is usually close to how fast humans can buy. The slower your buy time, the less chance you have of being frozen.
Q: Where can I make a suggestion for a new program?
A: Please use the search feature extensively before making a post about this. Search any combination of words mathcing the program you want made, as well as "Program Suggestion" to see if anyone else has suggested it before. If not you can make a post here
Q: What does advanced do for me, and how do I get it?
A: Currently there are two ways to gain advanced. Make around 400-500 non spam posts and then wait for current advanced members to vote you in. You can always ask someone to make the topic. Or you can simply pay 5 dollars a month (3 if you buy 6 months at a time). Advanced currently offers the following benefits:

A: The only program that does not work for the MAC is the ShapeShifter Auto Player. We are working on making it mac compatible, but there is no ETA when this will be acomplished
Q: The ShapeShifter Solver says that I've reached the max level but I'm not at 100.
A: The Shape shifter program is the fastest in existence, and is thus limited to everyone based upon post count only. We take your post count and divide it by 5, and that is the highest level that you can reach.
Q: Where can I find lists for the Score Sender?
A: Its always best to make your own custom list.. You can always search the forum as others have posted their score sending lists. Read the topic before you use it to see if it gets people frozen, and use them at your own risk.
Q: Do the programs work with Premium?
A: The programs work with premium just the same as they work with normal, as long as you are not signed into the portal. The portal is poorly coded and will cause issues with the programs. Please make sure you are signed out of premium portal before running the programs.
Q: An item is priced wrong in the database, what do I do?
A: If the item is worth over 100k in our database, or marked as unpriced, you can either price it yourself if you have Advanced Membership, or you can post here to have someone else update it.. If the item is worth under 100k, then it will be updated by the Programs. All items in the database are priced at least once.
Q: How do I use a proxy?
A: There is a well written guide here as well as ten million guides on Google on how to use a proxy. There is more then enough information for how to use a proxy and if you simply look you should be able to understand how to do it.

Q: I can't see the Trading Post section
A: In order to prevent people from creating accounts and instantly scamming people, we have a time limit on how soon you can see the Trading Post. Stick around, read topics and respond to them, the Trading Post will show up for you soon enough. If you previously had access to the Trading post, you most likely broke a rule and have that privilege revoked. Look at the Banned section to see.

Q: Are we allowed to post answers to Mystery Pictures or Lenny Conundrum?
A: We have a section dedicated to that Anyone can talk about and discuss Lenny Conundrum answers. As far as the Mystery Picture goes, Waser Lave will provide the answer to the Advanced minutes after Neopets releases a new one, and then will give normal members the answer before the next one starts.
Q: You guys are cheaters/hackers, why can I not sell stolen items here?
A: Using a program to do things for you is much different then stealing someone else's work. Thievery is not tolerated in any way, shape, or form at Neocodex. If you steal someone elses work, you are not allowed to sell it here. We do this both because of moral reasons, and because it puts our users at high risk for getting purchased things frozen.
Q: What are Unregistered Accounts, and why are they not allowed to be traded?
A: Read Boggarts guide here Due to the high risk of losing the account, and the fact that the account is stolen, they are not allowed to be traded.

Q: I had advanced and suddenly I became a normal member again. What happened?
A: If you recently changed your email, IPB places you in the "Unverified" group. After you verify that, it places you in the incorrect group. Rather then placing you at your old group, it just shoved you back as an normal member. Contact a staff member to fix this.
Q: What is IRC?
A: IRC is a text only group real time chatting function. Meaning that you can join a room and chat with multiple people from the site in real time, just like using MSN or AIM. To join this room and get started, just click the Chat button at the top bar.
Q: What is Tinychat?
A: Tinychat is an offsite chat functiont hat is visited by many members of the site. It is not offically part of the site, and thus the rules of codex do not apply, but should still be used as guidelines (There are moderators there). Because of members of 4chan visiting the room and spamming it, there is a password in protection, to get this password PM someone that visits there. Examples of people who you can message are: Pyro699, Georgina, Onlyme, Strategist, Soulstealer, Boggart. Iargue. There are plenty more people that visit there, far to many to list
Q: How does tinychat differ from irc?
A: The biggest differences between TINYCHAT and IRC is that tinychat offers the ability to chat using mic or webcam as well as text, while irc is text only. While the staff does visit tinychat, and the members of tinychat are more then willing to help, irc is the preferred place for getting help.
Q: How do I become retired?
A: Getting into retired is entirely by vote of the current retired members. If you are liked enough by someone in there, or are very helpful, someone will start a vote and if you make it in, you will be informed of this.
Q: What is retired?
A: Retired is rank held by people in the site who have particularly helped the site, or have been around and liked for a long time. Usually it marks the period of when a person has been active in the community for a long time and developed friendships. Retired members have their own section to hang out in chat in, mostly because they all have busy life's at that point and like to just reminders about when they first joined. Some younger members are also part of retired, because they were very friendly and helpful, or well liked. Holding the retired rank is a sign of respect, but is just a title and does not give them rights over the rest of the site.
