Has anyone else watched episode one of the walking dead season 2 yet? I thought it was pretty good although there coulda been more zombie killing.

aha, i just started watching season 1. seems really good so far. Best realistic zombie movie I've seen.

I just finished watching the first season and I have to say it awakened my interest in zombie movies/series.

I can't wait to start with the second!

I can't with this show. Everytime something happens, I'm up and yelling at the tv like a black woman on Springer. Then I have to leave the room because my sister gets all mad because she's actually enjoying it some how. I don't know how. The characters suck, the writing sucks. The action isn't enough to carry the show.

Okay so they need water, and supplies and they come across a bunch of cars filled with water and supplies. What do they do? The ugly dog face rapist son of a bitch opens a jug of water and 'baptizes' himself. Fuckin' wasting motherfucker!

And that main dude's fuckin' whore wife feels uneasy about taking clothes or anything from the car. Bitch, you're alive. They're dead. They don't need that stuff anymore. Let the bald lady have a nice red shirt, for fucksake.

Old man on the van is supposed to keep an eye out for zombies. All of a sudden he turns around and there's a whole stampede of zombies moving at zombie speed. What, motherfucker, you didn't see them comin' down the road two miles away? I mean seriously. The path was right there in plain view. You didn't see them until they were on your ass? Really? Puh-lease.

So then they all hide under the cars and the zombies pass. Literally 2 seconds after 'the coast is clear!' stupid little girl decides to move. Dumbshit, you're in the zombie apocolypse. You wait more than 2 fuckin' seconds to be sure the coast is clear!!

It was pretty awesome when the boy got shot in the woods. Sadly, he will probably live. It'll be dragged on for 5 episodes them trying to help this kid, when in reality, he should just be automatic dead from that wound.

The only people I like in this show are the Asian and the dirty redneck.

asian kid didnt have much of a role in this episode, very disappointing. he pretty much saved everyone's asses over and over last season. boooo.

I thought that was a major flaw in that episode too, it just seemed unbelievable that when you're supposed to be keeping watch during a zombie epidemic you forget to look behind you for probably at least 30 minutes (given the speed they travel at and the fact that they were only like 50 metres away when he finally noticed them)...

Overall though I think it's an interesting series, there haven't been many TV series about zombies really.

I'm enjoying it, I try not to look too critically at it and just enjoy the killing of zombies. I liked the ending (what a tweest) dumb bitch sophia deserves to die for being a stupid bitch (and probably a slut too).

but yeah I watched this before I slept and had a zombie apocolypse dream; except unlike usual dreams, I dreamt that it was just starting to happen and people were in denial and still trying to keep society going (at one point we were hiding out at a nail salon that was still in business. And my cousin drank all the apple juice at one sitting. I'd live him to die because of this dream now)

Instead of long, sprawling outdoor scenes, the network wanted the second season of The Walking Dead to occur 50% outdoors and 50% indoors (indoors being cheaper to film). Another note asked whether or not the audience had to always see the zombies – couldn’t they simply hear them sometimes.

hopefully the budget cuts for the series won't affect the quality of the episodes too much.

Well that last part is probably just to keep the viewer to think that happened, I doubt they would just let it slip so easily.

I can't stand this show. The first episode was very very good because it managed to convey the desperation of a dystopian setting quite well and the cinematography was tops (like that scene with the zombies locked in the hospital room trying to breakout).

Then an episode later, they're out camping and it seems like they're having a blast. The show's way to happy for its own good.

The only character I like is that redneck's brother (the one with the crossbow). At least he's down-to-earth enough to make a few sane comments every time the group starts trying unnecessarily moral stuff.

Gave this a watch on tv-links.eu... I'll agree with punk that the writing is a bit lackadaisical, enough to make it seem unbelievable and snap me right out of the show. But there are some really cool shots... Especially the one in the most recent episode I saw with all the zombies reaching through that gate. Not to mention the makeup is WAY above par, and they have a likable character here and there, even if most of them seem highly one-dimensional at times. I agree with Pavement about Darrell Dixon... By far the best character in the show. You kind of have to like the main character, I call him Ranger Rick. I also like Glenn, though he has had NO shots at character development. Hopefully the writers will get their shit together and make the show worthy of some awards... But even if the writing stayed the same I'd still watch it.

Rick's kid... The lil mother fucker that got blasted by fatty-boom-boom? Yea, he would be totally dead if a bullet split apart inside his body... He's small, and 6 bullet fragments would've turned his entire chest cavity into hamburger meat. Why was he so close to that deer anyways? Was that the sign from God that Rick was praying for like....5 minutes earlier? And if it is, can we take it that Sophie is dead in the woods somewhere? I'd really like to see them finally start moving again... If they stay at the farmhouse too long they'll start to lose the audience pretty quickly. Every time there's a scene there I prepare myself for the imminent snooze-fest. I did like the zombies around the medical trailer that Shithead and Fatty went to go pillage, totally awesome scene... And what an unfair way to end it! How are they supposed to get out from behind the gate? Maybe they'll stay there a few weeks and Fatty will live off his fat reserves and Shane will die... Who could possibly like that character after he contemplated putting a bullet in his best friend? I hope he gets eaten next.

Apparently the bullet going through the deer first slowed it down enough that it wasn't fatal. I have no idea if that's plausible or not.

Well Shane did what he had to do, he was crippled and Otis can't out run the zombies so either all 3 people die or 1 person gets sacrificed, i don't really see any way out of that situation and the entire thing was Otis's fault in the first place accident or not
