If pokemon were somehow graphed into our world it would be chaos. For one, pokemon would kill every one of us. No amount of "friendship" could convince me to lead a life of solitude inside a light-bulb sized living quarters that is sprinkled with the occasional beatings. I mean, have you guys seen charzard? He's a goddamn fire-breathing dragon that understands English. Even if we manage to get rid of all the pokemon that could snap us in half or crush houses with its ass (I'm looking at you snorlax) we would just end up abusing them like the animals we have now. Know that ugly pokemon Miltank? We'd breed them on a massive scale, market MuMilk as some sort of "new and improved" milk and then genetically engineer them to be tasty MuBurgers. The pokemon we don't manage to kill of right away will die to natural predation anyways. I mean, if it was a competition between the Slowpoke and the Dodo, I'd put money on the dodo. The only pokemon that would have any chance is this godawful thing:

Pokemon for sure. There are some spells in Harry Potter that should not be used in real life.

Pokemon, an Alakazam can do anything Harry Potter could ever dream of being capable of. I'd just get me one of those and be set for life.

Pokemon would be fun but, sooner or later all pokemon would be captured. Capitalism rulez! Also, with technology, lots of master balls would be produced. Chiniese ppl would find a way to produce them cheap and start the mass producion. (Also same with rare candies and so) Real life would be bugged. Lots of ppl would be easily killed by pokemon in wilderness, but if all of us would have the ability of Ash, resisting millions of thunder shocks by that little yellow rat and flame attacks by his Charizard, life would be easier ofc.

Pokemon is like Neopets in many ways; for one, food sources would make very little sense, unless you like Draik Steaks, Magikarp sushis and Belsprout salads, and in some countries fried Scythers are considered a delicacy.

well assuming i wouldnt be a muggle or a squibb... but i mean i could use psychic pokemon for plenty of evil, and they dont seem to have a way to detect pokemon powers, where as the imperius curse is tracked, no using it for bank robbery or sex... poke mon

Pokemon.
Because in the world of Pokemon, anyone can start on a journey, Pokemon isn't something that is available to a select handful.
On the other hand, in the HP universe, there's the witches and wizards that everyone will want to be, and then there's the muggles and squibs. The chances of you being able to make full use of the world highly depends on if you end up having magical powers or not.

Well, there's people out there that believe that pokemon really do exist, so they're already half way there. (About 6 or 7 years ago I found the forum for it. The creators were trolls and many little kids believed in it. It hilarious and sad at the same when they destroyed the site)
