I've been playing it since I got home. Pretty amazing, except for some minor things. Was strolling in the mountains on horseback when all of a sudden an ass noclipped through the ground into my path.

seems legit. Other than a few small things here & there, I think this game is amazing.
Anyone else pick it up today? If so, what's your opinion on it?

Haha. :D Elder Scrolls used to be super glitchy for me. I can't wait to get my hands on Skyrim! Oh my terrible terrible obsession with games. I've been looking forward to this one for the past year.

Bethesda never really gets any of their game engines right... You can use the excuse that the world is too expansive to fully work all the bugs out, but I think they're just lazy. Don't get me wrong though, I'm buying Skyrim. And just like after the Oblivion release, won't see my girlfriend, friends, or family for a month or two.

I already finished the main quest line and probably half of the mini/side quests already. It was enjoyable for the most part but i had some problems with the way they dealed with the ending.

its an rpg, you go around doing quests, collect boar livers, save the world etc .......

its pretty similar (questing and gameplay) to fall out 3 and fall out new vegas if you've ever played those

    Every fucking thing.

It has a huge, open world, with thousands of question to do, dungeons to explore, and all kinds of awesome shit to happen. Plus, it looks sexy as fuck.

Not to mention if skyrim were an mmo, it would go like this:

    Pay subscription
    Log in
    Do quests.
    Fight monsters.
    Log off
    Sleep
    Log in
    Do the same quests again.
Fight the same monsters again! Yeah!
    Log off
    Log in.
Sup. You remember those quests right? Good man. Go do them again.
    FIGHT THAT MONSTER AGAIN!

    Repeat until next billing cycle.

On topic though, I'm playing an argonian mage, and standing at a chokepoint using lightning storm with a 150% fortify destruction magic potion is probably the most fun I've had in a game in a long time.
