    We need more information than this.

    • How much are you willing to spend?
    • What will you be doing most with it?
    • If gaming, what's the most graphic intensive game you intent to play?
    • Do you mind playing games on average settings? Or do you want everything on omgwtf full settings?

    Hi, well I dont know how much i'm willing to pay, but dont have problem with it unless it's too expensive. I'll be surfing, gaming, and things like that, and I play a lot of games so most graphics are perfect. But I just need some pretty fast computer ^^

    People won't know what you consider "too expensive" if you don't give a budget estimate though. :/

    Try using a currency converter...$1500 will get you an awesome laptop, but it's quite a lot :p

    In Australia, $1500 will get you a just above average computer, ok but not great for gaming, with a number of games still being sluggish to respond.

    If you want one for gaming, you're looking at 2k here.

    @OP; we really need to know more details... So $1500 is a budget. But you don't know the prices of computers in the US... Why don't you tell us where you are from so a more "local" price can be suggested for you.

    Posting help doesn't magically create help.

    Step one.

    Give us names of local retailers. Hardly any of us live in argentina, so we will always be shopping somewhere else instead. We need the names of places that you can buy from around there, so we can find out what is offered for you.

    Price range limit for you in your native currency, and in the US dollar. Use this tool to convert. http://www.xe.com/ucc/

    Your idea computer.
    What computer you would settle for.
    Anything else you can tell us about what you want.

    And then.... someone will give you an answer, or multiple people will and a debate will ensue. Either way, your help will come when people get more info then you are giving.

    Price isnt the most important here, since I was thinking about a VAIO or an HP laptop but I dont know results of this. I think I'll do what you said to give you details ^^

    Here's its the details.

    The max I can spend right now exactly is 1,401.87 USD.
    I'm looking to buy a new Laptop and I was thinking about this ones:
    A new VAIO, any HP laptop or a Mac.

    Those are the best that you can find here, so I want to know which model of those should I buy.
    The faster = The better.

    And if you know price of these on your country even better.

    That's all I can say atm, what else do you want to know? :o

    I am assuming your currency is in Peso's (Argentina) and the USD:Local rate is $1400 - $5955

    If so, I haven't played with one directly, but both my father and sister purchased the mid range Dell XPS Laptops. To me, a dell desktop is no good because they are too hard to upgrade. I have a different opinon on their laptops, because any laptop is hard to upgrade significantly (save for RAM).

    With your budget, save for another week and you can get the XPS laptop 2nd from the top (currently approx $40USD out of your price range) which should pretty much cover everything you want it to do...

    http://translate.goo...cial&prmd=imvns
    (Im using google translate to help me navigate the site but it fails in half of the translating :p)

    In order to give you the specs (which you can read for yourself), I'm actually using the Australian site at the same time, matching them up with the Argentinian specs. Price: $5,999 (local currency)
    Specs;
    Case: Silver Aluminium Finish
    Processor: 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i5-2430M processor 2.40 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.00 GHz
    Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit). I would stay away from Windows XP
    Ram: 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (1 x 4GB)
    Hard Drive: 500GB SATA @ 7200RPM
    Optical Drives: 8x DVD+/-RW (standard)
    Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GT 525M 1GB Graphics Card with Optimus
    Screen: 15.6" HD WLED Screen with built in 2.0MP Web Camera
    Networking; Integrated 10/100/1000 Network Card + Intel Centrina Wireless N 1030 inc Bluetooth Support
    Battery: 6-cell LI (2.6Ah) standard; Up to 5 hours, 23 minutes* of battery life with 6-cell battery
    Audio: JBL 2.1 Designed & Certified Speakers +Waves MaxxAudio

    Misc Information;
    Ports;
    Mini DisplayPort (1),
    2 total USB 3.0
    1 USB 2.0 (eSATA/powershare combo)
    Integrated network connector 10/100/1000 LAN (RJ45)
    HDMI 1.4
    AC adapter connector
    Audio jacks (headphone with SPDIF support (2), 1 Mic-in)

    Dimensions/Weight;
    HxW: 1.3" (front)/1.5" (back) x 15" (or 32.2mm front/38.2mm (back) x 381mm)
    Depth: 10.4" (265.4mm)
    Weight: 2.7kg

    Media Card Reader: Yes (supports SD, SDIO, SDXC, SDHC, MS, MS Pro, MMC, MSXC, xD)

    A little out of your price range but would do pretty much every little thing you seem to want your laptop to do, so would possibly be worth the extra. My sisters one had a small issue where (because she's on it almost 24/7) the lettering started to wear off the keyboard after 6 months from her constant typing. Contacted Dell and they arranged a replacement keyboard and a service tech to fix it @ no charge under warranty. Dad seems to be loving his, and he's had his for about a month now.
