  • Love you too.
  • But look the ram is covered in armour plating!
  • You should. Go Razer or go home.

We have the same RAM and processor! The 3.4 GHz quad core sandy bridges is NICE! I have heard that the Ivy Bridges processors should be coming out in a few months, though, and I've heard really great things about them!

From what i know the Ivy Bridges are going be more for laptops since they have the improved Integrated Graphics. If you are going to wait for the next model in CPU's then for a desktop you would be better off to get the Sandy Bridge E's that are coming out so wont be paying for a CPU that has a piece you will never use.

I know how you feel about wanting the best non-extreme cpu, but seriously, let it slide. If you plan to, a clocked 2500k can run virtually identical to a clocked 2600k. There are quite a few people who've got them stable at 5 GHz on air, although I wouldn't expect quite that high normally.

As for your graphics card, the card itself is fine, but you have to make the decision between Nvidia and AMD. The reason I personally bought the AMD 6990 over the Nvidia 590 was mostly for the fact that I can add another same-series card to it if I wish in the future. Remember that with your Nvidia card, if you wish to upgrade in future you either have to buy the same one again or scrap this card completely.
