In my inventory I had a Quetzal petpet next to a food item, I think it was a spooky pie or something. I came back the next day and the pie was gone and in it's place it said Quetzal had eaten the pie. I didn't even know that was possible... Does that happen regularly? And why? x3 I was so confused and disappointed that he ate my pie so I put him in my shop. Stupid Quetzal! xP

haha, yeah, that happens randomly.
You get the drackonack avvie when the petpet eats the cheese.
and it seems like it's only items adjacent to the petpet.

Did you know: Quetzalcoatl was worshiped as deity by the Aztecs. The name roughly translates to "Feathered Serpent". When Hernan Cortez landed in modern day Mexico, the Aztec emperor Moctezuma mistook him to be Quetzalcoatl in human form and welcomed him with open arms. Cortez and Co. were treated like royalty until they start pillaging everything to send back to Spain but by then the realization came too late.

hahaha I wasn't planning on keeping the petpets. I had like three I had gotten from the money tree and I was gonna auction them or sell them in my shop.

This would be very funny if there's someone who have a trade full of expensive food and he gets a free petpet from the dailies only to have it eating his expensive food...
