Busy as hell. Ended up changing my field of study from Aerospace to Architecture. Switch has been hard, but fun. Have also gotten into DJing and usually play at a bar or two by ASU. Other than that not much. Women still suck, I still smoke way too much weed but that's about it.
And yeah, I figured. I don't really plan on staying so it's not worth the effort. Really just always curious when the day I try to look at NeoCodex nothing comes up. Haha.
What about yourself buddy? How're things with you? Still using your body as a lethal weapon in Texas?

As far as me, I'm back in Texas yeah. Haven't been doing taekwondo for a while now, but you've no way of knowing that. I tried to keep up with it in Virginia, but without finding an affiliated school/studio, I was basically having to start from scratch. You know how it goes, people are only out to make a buck. The two schools I went to weren't even interested when I told them I had been an instructor before.
I don't really keep up with codex that much anymore either, but you've caught me on one of my infrequent binges. I'll come back every few months to check in, say what's up, catch the latest memes from those who keep up with them. Feelings of nostalgia keep drawing me back I suppose.
TBH, I come back to see how far we've come, the latest changes and whatnot. They've done something weird with advanced again. And all of the old GFXers and inactive programmers are 'contributors' now. Tetiel and Fox must be turning in their e-graves.

You were in Virginia for school right? What made you move back to Texas? Sucks you couldn't continue, but I definitely understand where you're coming from as far as people being only out to make a buck. I tried pretty hard to pick up BJJ just as a means of discipline and balance and all the schools are so concerned with their image and profits that it was entirely too difficult to find something that fit my needs. Oh well though, maybe something will show up.
Glad to see I caught you on one of your infrequent visits back. I definitely understand the nostalgia, Codex was a big part of my life for a long time and there's always that little monkey on the back that draws you back in. Pretty similar to smoking in my opinion, I've quit but I always have an urge to reignite. I suppose you can't get cancer from coming back to Codex though so no worries there =P
I'm with you on the changes as well. It always astounds me how hard Cam and Faraaz (I always forgot Dro's name sorry if I butchered it or got it completely wrong) have worked for this site, and the dedication they've shown throughout the years makes me hope I can find something as important to me as this was to them. I don't think I've stuck to anything really longer than 4 years, and this site definitely gives me motivation to find and continue something in my life that I love.
Not really concerned with Advanced, guess it's something with posts though because I see the all too familiar "you're just posting gibberish to get your count up" kind of thing. But eh. Contributers, I can't see how that's bad. Haha so Tetiel nor Fox have returned? Wish I had the determination they do to stay away from something, but hell, they're probably way passed that chapter in their lives anyways.

Congratulations sir! Good to hear, what was your concentration?
Still amazing the lowlings of the Dex with your programming skills?

Good to hear man, definitely. Did you stay at the same University for your Masters or change? Still in the same concentration? Interesting, Faraaz was the one I thought would have dual degrees by now, but I would assume he has a lot on his plate.
Great job on the site, good to see not much has changed aesthetically, but the inner workings seem to always be in constant flux, so great job on that as well.
Glad to see everything running smoothly, Happy Holidays everyone!
